My specialty is in Gastrotricha and Rotifera where I apply EM, CLSM, and FIB-SEM to understand functional morphology. I also work with systematics and phylogenetics using morphological lenses to investigate the evolution of meiofaunal animals.

Why is it so exciting to describe species?
I know that for a lot of my scientist colleagues talking about species description is so, how can I say, boring. Spend days, weeks or months just to observe a unique part of the animal body and then compare it with dozens of other species, I can tell sounds boring.
